Anna’s Story

“Through the enormous generosity of sponsors through Mission Uprising, I was able to attend The Well women’s weekend, my husband attended The Outpost men’s weekend, and we attended the Marriage Getaway, all within the last 3 months.

All of these events were and would have been life-changing in their own right. The personal breakthrough and heart transformation we each experienced and continue to experience has been incredible. 

However, the gift of experiencing the Marriage Getaway after each having gone through such profound personal experiences at The Well and Outpost has been the single most important thing we have done for our marriage and faith to date in the twelve years we’ve been together. It’s hard to quantify, and would take me hours to share all of the answered prayers and miracles that we’ve experienced just through these three experiences. I find frequently that God’s goodness and faithfulness is just too big for our simple words. 

When someone donates to support scholarships through Mission Uprising, they might expect that their gift would aid in transforming a single life. Yes, but also more. The impact these experiences have had in our family will be generational, communal, and eternal. In the way that the Spirit refreshes us each new day, the ripples of this generosity will be felt anew each day. For that we are so grateful and will never be the same.”
