“GOD SHOWS GRACE IN GIVING US LIFE, PROVIDING FOR US, AND STRENGTHENING US FOR THE PATH AHEAD. THAT GRACE IS SUFFICIENT - IT IS ALL WE NEED.

  • Our area in Hendersonville, NC has been impacted by Hurricane Helene, resulting in a range of destruction. Many of our county's foster families with placements are facing property damage, such as trees falling on houses and cars. Some of our foster families are currently in homes without power, water, and with schools closed for the foreseeable future.

As we consider how to best support our local foster children and their caregivers during this challenging time, the mental health aspect of the situation is a key concern. It's crucial to address the emotional toll that events like this can trigger for our vulnerable youth.

In an effort to bring a bit of joy to our children and offer a moment of relief to their parents, our non-profit organization is creating activity bags for our families. These bags will contain items like Legos, bubbles, playdough, sensory toys, and more.

Due to the delays in Amazon deliveries caused by the hurricane damage, we are currently accepting monetary donations to purchase the necessary items for these activity bags. Contributions from the community will be invaluable in helping us provide support and comfort to those in need.

    ❤️ With heartfelt appreciation,

    Hope
